Local area guide

ATM, currency exchange

Currency Exchange
For currency exchange, we recommend visiting the exchange office conveniently located right next to the hotel entrance. Don’t forget to take the VIP card from your hotel room—this card grants you a much better exchange rate. Without the VIP card, the exchange rate may not be as favorable.

A word of caution: In the city center, there are some dishonest exchange offices. Always ask for a clear quote on how much you will receive for a specific amount before agreeing to the exchange. By Czech law, if you realize you've made an unfavorable exchange, you have the right to cancel the transaction within 3 hours. If you find yourself in this situation and need assistance, please call our contact number, and we will help you resolve the issue.

Important: Avoid exchanging money on the street to ensure your safety and security. These street exchanges are always a scam, where fraudsters often use sleight of hand or counterfeit money to deceive tourists. Remember, legitimate money exchange should only be conducted at certified offices or banks, where you can be certain of receiving the correct amount in the local currency.

ATM
Need cash? You’ll find a bank ATM from Česká Spořitelna right in front of McDonald’s on our street. We recommend using this ATM for safe and reliable withdrawals.

Important: Be cautious when using non-bank ATMs, particularly those operated by EURONET. These ATMs often charge exorbitant fees and offer poor exchange rates, making your withdrawals significantly more expensive. If you need assistance with finding a reliable ATM, please don’t hesitate to ask us.
